Haroldisasterz

Well, the holidays are over and the proverbial has hit the rotating air-movement device. ...

Attempts to morphtarget Harold have resulted in constant setbacks. Firstly the body/target vertex ratio was out, stopping the target working. Now the vertices match but F**** if I know what it is doing now.

I forsee lots of debugging in my future, just as I run out of time for it. heigh-ho...>P

Harolding a new Era

Well, I'm back at the Giraffing for Life Education. now I am producing a 3D model of the Mascot I dress up as for updating Life Ed. Tasmania's digital works. So far it's modelling time... Harold 3 Harold 2 Harold 1 This half-Harold looks similar enough to the source image that I hope all are happy. Please comment if you don't think it does justice, and what the problem is...

March-ing on

Well...
It is March again and things are progressing slowly.
TAFE (Polytechnic) work has slowed my illustration work, illness has strck on the back of burnoff-fever, and today I must present a tutorial to the class through a migraine. (aarrgh)
The new drawings of Healthy Harold for Life Education have been completed and loaded to the LET site. So far they are well recieved.
The Fitzroy falls T-shirt images have been printed and enjoyed by Woolongong Uni medstudents.

2011

Well, here we are in another year.
Seems this one will be similar to the last one - Disaters across the planet, study at TAFE, illustrating a children's book and trying to find a 'real' job.
This time the floods appear to be local too, so these are definitely becoming Interesting Times.

Venetia's wedding went past with minimal incident. She is now a Zantuck and off bothering Borneo. It was good to see the Kulps again and catch up with the Sydney rellies that are still persona gracia.

A happy new 2011 to all of cyberspace.

NovembAAARGH!

Well, it is November already and we at the Polyhectic are entering ou8r assessment period.
Between illness and incomprehension I am not expecting much from this year's efforts.
My Portfolio site/cd is now complete, but is more holly than swiss cheese. All those midnight programming sessions only served to make my writer's block even thicker in the mornings.
We shall see....

Lifelong learning continues with a Harold appearance sometime mid-month. Two committee members have quit and that leaves 3 and a stuffed giraffe making decisions. I begin to suspect I was invited to join just to maintain enough numbers to vote with...however things appear to be successful nonetheless.

At the moment all I wanna do is sleeeeeep....

Latest blurb

Well, another day and another job down the gurgler. Bass Fine Wines no longer needs me (*sniff*). Heigh-ho...
Possible employment at Providence is in the wings, though. We shall see...

For those interested in Life Education I am now on the Tasmanian committee and will be Harolding at the Brownlow Breakfast on Sept 20th at 7am, and at the Last Drinks launch of Ocsober on Sept. 30th. The new Giraffe suit is fixed thanks to Stuart and the generosity of Allessandro at the International Shore Store (a serious gentleman). The fan now works and the feet are on the right way. :)

Let us hope all goes well...

The Streets Alive site is done and dusted and appears to have gone down well. (My half of te production team is now down to two people which is a bit disconcerting.)
The Mayo book is finished and delivered although it looks like another self-publishing job. Still...Loretta's book appears to have been well recieved.
The Advertiser is still on-the-go and Permian Monsters is in the wings.

Lotsa work still to do.

Monday 26 July 2010

Well, almost August and the Mayo book is almost complete. 15 images in all.
More work from Eduart too. Fixes for old stuff mostly. Still working at Bass Fine Winery and Harold-ing but no great shakes thus far.
Michael Zhang has returned to China and may end up moving to Canada.

Brother ewan has bust his skull (literally) this week. 3 fractures. He really needs to learn that football is too dangerous to his health. Stick to delivering babies in Vanuatu , Bro....
