Validation underway.

All links viable!

Now on to EduArt work...

Website in sight!

Finally published my Ltonflood Report to the server and, although slow, it appears to be working as intended.

My own Nut E. Ink website should be up and running shortly too.
Galleries are a lot of WORK! :P

YouTube and Flickr slideshows have been added and many more graphics are awaiting loading (though I think I will wait to add them so the initial upload is not too huge).

Blog links need to appear in new pages... yet more to do...

Blog links...

O.K.
I finally have some other Blogs to link to so I have added their links into a widget/Gadget on my sidebar. Hopefully this will work as it is meant to...

Your Own Blogger Art...and Mine.

Enough Faffin' about...

Well...I've managed to get my own art onto the scene, got at least one .swf working, and I've fulfilled the other requirements of this Blog.
My art is not fully realised yet and requires an awful lot of tweaking to look really good, but I must concentrate on my Website instead.
I will fix this up in my own time so it does not look so "busy".

My other .swf's, such as 7 Deadly sins, just won't load into a host - I keep getting a page error and a link to an empty file.

One can only do so much...

For those interested in putting their artwork on Blogger here is a basic map of what goes where.

Attempt 2

Advert

Try this.

Success!

Yay! At last I have nutted out how to change the backgrounds in Blogger! Now I just have to size them right.

Flickr will not let Blogger access pictures from code so the BG images have to be hosted on Up2Share instead!

Friday 13 November 2009

Lets see if this works...

This should be a Flickr slideshow...

Musing

Well...
It looks like I can't get my .swfs to play on my blog, I can only link to them on other hosting points. (What a Bummer!)
Still - I can have them seen, that's worth somethig I guess.

And again...

This should be a .swf...

A web post from up2share...

My Cards...

For those interested I make and sell Bushwalking cartoon cards. Here are some examples of my work. Any anecdotes about walking disatsters or getting lost somewhere funny will be gratefully accepted for material...:)

For those on Feet and Fingers - you should recognise a lot of these situations...

Poss Number 2

The next Poss strip - just in time for summer. And I bet you thought all that fire-hazardous muck in your gutters just blew there?

Stripping off...

Here is my current strip, "POSS". It follows the antics of the delinquent brush-tailed possums that used to demolish our fruit trees when we lived on our farm in Karoola. Social commentary in the style of "Yale Harvaad-Diploma Barbarian" or just something stupid to pass the time with.

This one responds to the constant comment I hear from people caught in the Launceston version of Rush-hour about how little traffic there is here.

Work

Here are a few of the random 'toons I have been producing. A couple of Christmas themed card covers and a gift for my Sensei.
I figured it was about time I put up something I've created outside of the GD course.

More to come...

Trials and discomBlogulations

This should be a pic linked from blogger to flickr. If this ain't working then that might explain matters.

Bluurrrrzzzzzz...

I finally dit it! I got a manually operable camera and finished the imaging module!
Lots of trial and error, and the assistance of the LSS over 50s Scottish dancing school. Thanks to Jenny Perkins of L.C. for the camera.

Homage to Dawn

Here is my Webpage background, used later in the 7Deadly Sins. Inspired by Linsner's "Dawn" series it emulates the lace Dawn often wears. I think the effect is kinda cool...

More Coursework

Here are the drafts from my fictitious works and the alternative Quote.
For those not in-the-know the works were for a web-page, a newsletter, and a raffle ticket book.

The Gorge in August

Here are some personal pics of the Gorge in Launceston during the rains in 2009.
It is hard to believe to look at now with the water all calm that it was in spate like this for about two months!
It is also hard to believe that this much water did not fill every dam in the North. They only got to, what?, 45%-48%?
At least we got the rain, unlike the mainland...

My Minion Post for typography. I still like the look of it for some reason. Must've got it right then...

Yes! Finally got a pic from the web. Now to start posting all of 'em...

Trying again...

Lets see whether THIS works...
Getting Flickr to access Blogger blog...
Test sent...

Trying to Flickr...

Let us see if I can get pics from my Flickr account on here...
First lets see if flickr comes before PC upload - uploading apples.
Then upload URL for Journey and Quote from flickr and see what happens...

Trying to learn the ins-and-outs of Blogger here. Possibly not as effective for Art display as I was led to believe. Examining further...

In The Beginning There Was The Word...

...And the word was - "Bugger!".

(It was meant to be "Let there be Art!" but I spilled my coffee at the wrong moment:)).

Hey-ho, them's the rubs...

Here is another site for ranting about Murphy's Law ((U+C+I) x (10-S))/20 x A x 1/(1-sin(F/10)) = S.H. and displaying my randomly generated artworks and Graphics Course materials.

Here (eventually) will appear the progress of POSS, the Nut E. Ink card selection, the demands of the All Powerful Marker (aka. Chris Adams) and anything else that dribbles out of my diseased imagination.
